Product Questions and Answers
How to set up machine torch:
- Refer to manufacturer's instructions for your specific torch.
Because the Powermax is compatible with a wide variety of cutting tables, track burners, pipe bevelers, and so on, please refer to manufacturer's instructions.
- Ensure the torch and table are set up correctly.
Use a square to align the torch at right angles to the workpiece in two dimensions.
- Clean, check and tune.
The torch may travel more smoothly if you clean, check and tune the cutting table's rails and drive system.
- Ensure torch does not touch the workpiece during cutting.
Contact with the workpiece can damage the shield and nozzle and affect the cut surface.
