* This is the external connector which mates with the power supply RS-485 connector.  It is provided as an option for interfacing between the power supply and the customer's CNC. 
** Only used on Powermax 105/125 systems.

Q - What is the RS-485 Serial port? A - It is a 5 pin connector that allows direct interfacing with your CNC machine, simplifying your process.
Q - Is this similar to a CPC port? A - No, a CPC port allows communication from the plasma cutter and the machine torch, but the Serial port allows communication with your CNC machine directly.
Q - Is this easy to install? A - It does require some mechanical aptitude, but following the how-to video in the video tab will certainly help.
