Dedicated aluminum wire feeder for AlumaPower™ MPa power sources, providing the most advanced MIG and synergic Pulsed MIG performance. The Miller XR-Alumafeed™ 300509 wire feeder combines with an AlumaPower™ 350 MPa or 450 MPa for a synergic system that simplifies and improves MIG and pulsed MIG welding applications for aluminum welding.
Miller XR-Alumafeed #300509 Features:
- Gun calibration - Provides flawless synergic operation with MPa power sources. Allows control box to sync up with the welding gun for accurate and precise wire feed control that is crucial for reducing and eliminating weld defects.
- Advanced trigger - Control time spent in the arc start and arc crater process and offers "trigger interlock" capability.
- Bright digital displays - Easy on the eyes for optimal readability. Displays voltage or arc length and wire feed speed or amperage. Features indicators for arc start and arc crater, advanced trigger operations, setup and schedule select. Simple and efficient panel layout features a Two-knob and three-button system to change parameters and reduce training time.
- Trigger schedule select (SCHD) - Fast and efficient schedule switching allows the operator to switch to alternative welding parameters on the fly. Quickly tap the gun trigger when not welding to switch between two welding parameters.
- Setup guide - Displayed on the inner panel of the Alumafeed feeder, featuring quick tips to get your wire feeder up and running as fast as possible. No more worrying about misplacing the operating manual, the setup guide will always travel with your Alumafeed wire feeder.
- Rugged steel - Heavy duty steel case protects wire from dirt and moisture in harshest of environments. Features a convenient carrying handle for easy portability and improved durability.
Note: The Miller XR-Alumafeed 300509 is the Wire Feeder only. Full synergic operation when used with MPa power sources only. Other Miller 14-pin power sources may be used, but feature operation may be limited. Contact Welders Supply for more information.

Q - How fast does it feed wire?
A - 50 to 900 ipm is the rating.
Q - Will this work with the XMT 300?
A - No, it's not compatible with that machine.
How to Replace Hub Assembly:
- Remove Cover.
Remove gun top cover and release pressure arm.
- Take Apart Hub.
Retract wire onto spool and remove spool. Take hub apart as shown.
- Replace Parts.
Replace broken or worn parts and slide parts onto shaft as shown.
- Adjust Tension.
Adjust hub tension and thread welding wire. Close and latch door.
- Close Assembly.
Close gun pressure roll assembly and reinstall gun cover.
