The SYNC line of Powermax plasma cutters dramatically simplifies the process of replacing consumable parts. Instead of the traditional 5-part structure, these consumables are built into a single, perfectly aligned, easy-to-swap cartridge. These SmartSYNC cartridges eliminate the question of which parts need to be changed, and are color coded by use case. Technology embedded in each cartridge automatically sets the correct amperage, air pressure, and operating mode and lets operators know when a new cartridge is needed. Additionally, controls on the SmartSYNC torch allow operators to adjust the amperage and change the cartridge without returning to the power supply.
