Backhand pads are designed to further protect the wearer from sparks, spatter and flame while welding, cutting, and/or gouging all while being easy to slide on or attaché to the various gloves on the market. And this is still the case when it comes to the Tillman 550. Measuring in at 7.5in long by 5.50in wide this glove is easily and securely slide over the wearers glove and held in place via one leather and one elastic straps. While being made of 2 separate layers this glove protects as well as it is a breeze to be put on. Having a bottom layer of venniculite coated fiberglass and a top layer of reflective aluminized carbon Kevlar (ACK) this glove is sure to not only be comfortable, but an asset to any glove worn.
