Hypertherm's new SYNC cartridges are a great new addition to Hypertherm plasma cutters. The new consumables are an all-in-one system that can be easily screwed onto the torch, replacing the old 5 part consumable system. This cartridge is optimized to drag-cut metal up to 32mm (1-1/4") thick.

- Easy-to-identify single-piece cartridge consumables are color-coded by the process to eliminate confusion and simplify consumable inventory management.
- RFID-enabled SmartSYNC™ torches and cartridges automatically set the correct amperage and operating mode, eliminating setup errors.

A - 105A drag cut cartridges can be used with SmartSYNC torches drag cut metals up to 1 1/4" thick. Drag cutting involves dragging the tip along the work piece, making contact with the metal throughout the cut. Drag cutting is easier on the operator and produces less spatter.
Q - What torches are compatible with 105A drag cut consumable cartridges?
A - Drag cut cartridges are compatible with all handheld SmartSYNC torches. Machine torches are compatible with gray mechanized consumables only.
