Genuine Miller replacement nozzles are designed to reduce spatter and help you lay more consistent welds. For best results, Miller recommends periodically cleaning the inside of the nozzle and the holes of the gas diffuser. A little routine maintenance like this can make a noticeable improvement in the quality of your work.

Although it should go without saying, we’ll say it anyway: Never weld without the nozzle in place. The contact tip of your spool gun is electrically “hot” and will cause damage if it comes into contact with your grounded work piece.
