Uncomfortable and unreliable protection, even while needing it for your welding, cutting, and/or gouging, is unbearable. This was the key focus to correct when it came to safety glasses by Gateway. When they created their safety glasses each one has a focus on comfort with them being as lightweight as possible and featuring padded wrap around earpieces. And stay on your face with a specially designed nose pad to prevent them from slipping off while wearing them. Allowing for prolonged wear of these glasses without fatigue or discomfort occurring, but this does not mean in any way that they have limited the amount of protection you receive with these glasses to do so. Each pair of their glasses meets or exceeds the ANSI Z8701+ guidelines, and have all been coated in an anti-scratch resin to prevent the nicks and divots of the glasses themselves from obscuring your field of vision.
