Product Questions and Answers

Q - Is this just a TIG welder? A - No, it has two modes: TIG (GTAW) and Stick (SMAW).

How to install & set-up for DC TIG welding:

  1. Turn on machine.

    Turn on machine using the ON/OFF switch (back of machine).

  2. Select the TIG function.

    Select the TIG function with the TIG/STICK slector switch.

  3. Select DC.

    Select DC using the AC?DC selector switch.

  4. Connect TIG torch.

    Connect the TIG torch connector to the negative terminal and tighten it.

  5. Connect ground cable connector.

    Connect the ground cable connector into the positive terminal and tighten it.

  6. Connect foot pedal remote.

    Connect the foot pedal remote lead into the remote socket.

  7. Connect the torch gas connector.

    Connect the torch gas connector into the gas receptacle.

  8. Connect gas regulator.

    Connect gas regulator to the cylinder and connect gas line to the regulator.

  9. Open gas valve.

    Carefully open the valve of the gas cylinder, set the flow to 15-25CFH (7-12LMN).
