The Dynasty 280 Series combines portability with exceptional versatility. This AC/DC TIG/Stick welder features an energy-efficient inverter design and Auto-Line™ technology that enables you to plug into single phase or three phase outlets ranging from 208 to 575 V with no manual linking needed. It can weld up material up to 3/8" thick, but is compact enough and light enough (52 lbs) to carry with the included shoulder strap.

Q - What's a good TIG torch to use with this? A - The Weldcraft W-280 TIG torch (300990 ), the W-250 (300185) and the W-375 (301268 ) kits are all good picks.
Q - What input power does it need? A - 208 – 575 V, 1-phase or 3-phase power

How to turn on Lockout feature:

  1. Press Amperage control to toggle between the lock off and code off displays.

    Toggle control until [CODE] [OFF] is displayed.

  2. Turn encoder to select a lockout code number.

    Select a number between 1 and 999. The number will appear on the amperage, right, display. Write down this code number, as you will need this number to turn this feature off or make changes to your settings.

  3. Toggle Amperage control until [LOCK] is displayed.

    You may now select a lockout level to limit user control and adjustability of the machine. Exit the lockout feature by pressing Amperage and Gas/DIG controls at the same time.
