I purchased this Trailblazer 325 EFI to replace my old Bobcat 225 NT and I'll never look back. This machine is smaller (although about an inch wider) and lighter than the Bobcat and much, much quieter. It's got far more welding power than the Bobcat, but most importantly for me, it's got more voltage for FCAW and GMAW. I was previously forced to run my 8VS feeder in CC mode on the Bobcat because it just didn't put out enough power for FCAW for my tastes on 3/8" and thicker material. Even at that, I ran the Bobcat at max amperage to get the welding performance I wanted from the 8vs wire feeder. That's no problem now. The Trailblazer has power to spare and only runs at an RPM required for the power output instead of wide open all the time. It's a very nice feature! I couldn't be happier with it and wish I'd spend the extra money for this unit years ago! Fuel injection also makes cold day starts here in Maine a whole lot easier.
