I have now used my Miller 210 Thunderbolt in all positions. Flat vertical and overhead. With a wide range of amperes. And all types of electrodes with 3/32 and 1/8 and 5/32 electrode rods. No complaints at all the welding machine is working excellent.

Been Welding 1/4 mild steel both 6011 and 6013 3/32 and 1/8 vertical/overhead/and flat for the last two days. It's been great, no complaints here. Excited to have such a small lightweight machine that is so capable.

How to install work clamp:

  1. Use the right tools.

    Do not just hand tighten hardware. Use proper tools. A loose electrical connection will cause poor weld performance and excessive heating of the work clamp.

  2. Position cable.

    Work cable should be routed through the opening in the clamp handle.

  3. Secure cable.

    Tighten cable using a wrench to secure the lock washer and nut on the screw.
