Miller's Spoolmatic 30A is a portable, aluminum wire feeder designed for industrial applications. It goes perfectly with the Millermatic 252.

Another great miller product. Used it to weld light body panels with 0.023, so I didn't have to change the 0.045 flux out of the Multimatic 255, it worked amazing.
Have used this Spool gun for my Mobile side of my business primarily for Aluminum. Have used it running 28 to 29 volts with 3/64" wire. That exceeds what this gun is rated for but lays down tight beads with extremely minimal tip and nozzle usage. You do have to let it sit for a couple minutes every once in awhile to cool when running it for long periods of time at those settings but that's to be expected. My only gripe with this unit is the potentiometer wire feed control that's integrated in the bottom handle grip. It's extremely touchy to set and easily thrown out of adjustment just by sitting the gun down or bumping the handle. I constantly have to check the dial to make sure it's still where I set it. I feel an integrated dial lock would sure that problem up or just relocating the feed adjustment elsewhere. Other than that it's an extremely reliable unit that performs well. Of course results very depending on operators skill level. I have been a Certified Welder for 25 years. This is an honest opinionated review. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

A - The Miller Spoolmatic 30A will work on some Lincoln machines, like the Lincoln SA 200 and Lincoln 255c with addition of the Miller WC115A Weld Control. It may also require additional wiring.
